Dear Friends,
We are excited to invite you to participate in this year’s Christmas Cheer program in a number of ways:
- Adopt. Chose one or many families to adopt for the season. This is an opportunity for you to share the spirit of Christmas with others in need. recommended gifts
- Volunteer. There are many opportunities to serve. Help sort the many donations, wrap gifts, prepare food baskets, answer the phone, help keep the office orderly.
- Drives. Food, Clothing & Supplies Drive. Lead your church, civic organization, work place, or neighborhood to collect items for those we serve.
- Financial Support. Without a facility and utilities, being the center of community relief is not possible. Your financial gift is truly appreciated.
This year we are thankful that Scotland County Schools and Scotland County Department of Social Services will be identifying and referring the 200 families for adoption. As in the seasons past, we give thanks for all who make the Joy of Christmas a reality for so many, and their unconditional support.
Call or stop by the office today (directly across the street from the Laurinburg Post Office) and meet with Mrs. Eutha Tart, the Christmas Cheer Coordinator to adopt, volunteer, and/or coordinate your drive. We are open Monday through Friday, 8:30 – 12:30pm.
